I think I need to order a camera for my ride next week ( 2 Million Bikers to D.C.). I am considering the ne GoPro HD Hero3 Black. I'd like to get some ideas on how to mount it. How aboyut some PICTURES of you configurations to give me some ideas? I'm going to order today.
depends on what you want to film. If mounted on the roadster you will only get the view in front of the roadster. For your event I would think you would like to film what you eyes are seeing hence mounting it on your helmet would work best. Seeing as you can control it from your phone or a remote it is easy. Make sure you post the trip...!!
Here is my drift camera on my right fender (3M Tape), works great.

Love this photo, looks like your Spyder is sitting in the kitchen. :roflblack:
.
bought this clamp on ebay.
I've tried several locations on my RT for my GoPro but all had too much vibration. The dash, windshield, mirrors and wind vents all vibrated too much. I have mounts on my helmet and like that setup. I also have the chest harness from GoPro and really like that to.

Could you mount one to the Dash Mount with a Ram Ball?
JT
Use one of these with a RAM arm and base:

The Dash Ram mount comes with a 1" Ram Ball that can be mounted in any of 5 positions (or 5 balls if you like I guess) I was just wondering if the camera would fit in that area after you add the middle part that goes between the two balls.
