• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:dontknow:Hey, Anyone ever remove the baffle out of the hindle? I would like to do it but I think I would have to cut the little tabs inside the muffler. I guess you would not be able to replace the baffle once removed. Wonder how it would sound.

Yeah, what he asked.

hindle

:yes:Thank's bjt. Had seen that post a long time ago but forgot all about it. Think I will give it a shot. I will use a hack saw blade and cut the tabs close to the muffler itself. This way you won't see a tab inside the muffler.

Thank's again

what to use

OK, I was going to use a hacksaw to cut the tabs but It won't work the way I had hoped. Any idea how it might be done. Want to do a good clean job.

Maybe you can PM the guy who originally posted that info. I don't recall reading anything where he detailed how the inner parts of the Hindle were removed. :dontknow:

Wellll...I took the plunge... being Black Friday. I called to verify my Suzuki card was still good after paying off the balance in June(normally they auto-cancel after 90 days of inactivity) and it was still working. Soooo, since you are only able to use it at a Suzuki dealership I called and asked if they still had the Hindle exhaust in stock. The guy said no and I didn't believe him...so I told him where to look in the warehouse which turned to, yes...we still have it. The Hindles aren't selling great anymore with all the other lower priced pipes available now so I got it for a decent price.
I gotta say...it's not loud at all, the demo unit I road must of had the baffle removed or the can was worn out...I was going to make a baffle for it based on how loud the demo unit muffler was...I was affraid of getting a ticket the whole time I road the demo. When I started it up, I had to do a double take to make sure I didn't put the stock can right back on...It's not much different than my Leo's on the SV, so I am happy. Like the extra power, weight savings, acceptable exhaust tone and the cooler running engine.

I know they all do, but that demo unit...I'm not kidding you, it sounded like a straight pipe to the ear.
