• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hesitation/surging

I get a fast rapid(like rev limiter fast) surging/hesitation when i'm crusing and I have the throttle at the same spot all the time. It's a sweet spot that I can find at about 1/4 throttle. If I back off or speed up it goes away. It's not doing it in a certain gear(its all gears) or a certain rpm. If i'm accelerating or driving 110 on the highways I don't notice it. I find the hotter it is(30c), the more prodominant it is. I changed the spark plugs and that didn't change anything. The spark plugs were a nice tan/off white colour. I have just over 7000kms and it started doing it last year but haven't gotten around to it yet. It seems to be more noticable now.

Do you have the update done for the Hindle pipe?

Do you have the update done for the Hindle pipe?

I've had the first one done and am planning a trip to the dealer(650kms away), next month for a couple other issues and will get the other updates then. They told me when I got the first one that unless I was having problems, at the time I wasn't; not to bother then.

Your issue has to do with fuel system. I'd disable all related mods before bringing it in for the update. They read my mod list on here and tried to blame the surging and backfiring on the after market LEDs I've added.

:spyder:Hello Tweeder:

Mine was acting very similar to yours, I just had my O2 sensor replaced and - so far - the problem seems to have subsided.

good luck

I'm not running the o2 sensor. Just put back in the o2 delete not that long ago as per another member. Was doing this way before that.

Check your air filter. Mine was 30-40% covered in oil from blow-by. In fact entire air filter housing needed some TLC. Once I put a new filter in...runs very well. :D

Well I finally got the other toys done and outa the way to get the spydie in. I plugged the hose from the purge solenoid to the evap can and shes runnin good, no poppin and fartin. So I still haven't had the second update yet(tuesday), hopefully that works or i'll plug'er up again and leave it.

That should do the trick for you, but let us know how it goes.
