• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heading to Mobile AL. Any RYders?

SteveMac

MOgang Member & Monster Member,
Planning to meet up with ACINPCOLA somewhere near Pensacola at 1:30 on Saturday Nov 12, 2011 for lunch. Havent decided where yet but if there are any Ryders interested in joining us, just post or PM. Will pick a dinner place tonight or am open to suggestions for local non-franchise type places???

Yes I am asking the same question. What is your route. I leave near Baton Rouge, La. If you are around this area I would like to meet somewhere.

Gene and Rhonda

I was thinking I-10??

Or I may just cross the bay on I-0 and then hit back roads on over to Pensacola but open to suggestions!

Hey Steve, there is a place on 9 mile road just north of exit 7 of I-10, it's called Phillys. The owner is from Joisy, but he knows how to make a good Philly Cheesesteak or Hogie. He has Amorosa rolls ordered in from Phila. and mmm are they good. Here is the address if you would like to mapquest it: 2116 W. Nine Mile Road. Pensacola. He also makes killer Cannoli.

Dang and he even has a web site www.phillysonline.com

Looking forward to seeing you and Connie.

I don't think I'll be in the baton Rouge area. At least not this time, but I'd sure like to meet ya if you are up for heading east? See AC's post above.

Hey Steve.............the Phily Cheesesteaks sound pretty good. Why don't you order an extra dozen or so and bring them up to Cowtown:dontknow:. Linda and I would gladly meet you there and help taste test them with you :roflblack:

Have a safe trip

Maybe I could freeze some and bring them to the next meeting. LOL.

I was hoping that I could meet you somewhere else along your route. That would be a four hour trip for me. I was up to it but the wife said no way. Drive safely. I guess we will meet at Spyderfest.

Cool deal AC.
We are in mobile now. Just picked up a winter project (see below)

And happy Veterans Day bro.

Had a really nice time down here today. After picking up the winter project bike in Mobile, we hopped on the RT and rode over to Pensacola. Got to visit my friend who was the best man in our wedding then we stopped to look at a bunch of custom trikes that we're really nice. Didn't get pics. I forgot!

Then we met up with Al and Rhonda (ACINPCOLA) along with a couple of his riding buddies from Pensacola. Bill and Donna and also Brian on a nice green chopper.

Also Steve and Heidi (Smartin) rode over from Mobile. We hadn't met before, but I had read a few of his posts. The one about rescuing the greyhound recently really caught my eye. Great great folks.

Al and Rhonda were great as always. If you can't have a good time listening to a retired navy chief tell stories, them you might not have a pulse. And Al has some stories!!! Really enjoyed meeting their friends too.

Had lunch at Phillys (awesome!!) then rode the back roads back to Mobile with Steve and Heidi. Stopped at the a military museum east of Mobile and took some pics. Had coffee, cheesecake and some terrific bread pudding with a whiskey sauce (right up my alley!).

Said our goodbyes and everyone was off. So got to see old friends and made some new ones!

That is what is so cool about this site. We all have a bunch of friends out there we have just never met. SpyderLovers folks are the best!!

Hope to see you all again soon!
