• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

with the snow. i got about 3 foot with very high wind drifts. i had to dig my way into waist high snow just to get to the snowblower. i have a very large blower and it was going under the top of the drifts and not blowing it all like it should. my back was destroying me, so it took me a couple of hrs. to just clear a path for the dogs in the yard, and to clear my front walkway. then i went back out later in the afternoon to clear my front driveway to the street. after about a hour doing that, someone in a small SUV with a plow saw me leaning on the machine resting my back, and he offered to do the rest with the plow. he didn't want money but i tossed 20 bucks into his car so he can get some gas, trust me it was worth the 20.
i am having a cup of coffee now then i will go out and do behind my car so i can get it out if i need too. hope everyone that dealt with the snow is ok, and that if it bothered you, that you are taking a rest today

Sixteen inches here, not terrible, we have gotten a lot more in past winters. Got everything shoveled and blown before the plow guy came to do our road and driveway.

Yikes...!!

Feel for you all. My daughter and is in PA and has sent photos and stories on the trials and tribulations of getting around. Her short legged children ( see avatar) found snow for the first time in a big way...:roflblack: Just wore them out...

I believe we got 24+ inches around Mountville/Columbia PA area. It's a lot of snow but we made the most of it on the 4 wheeler Saturday during "white out" conditions. :ohyea:

i just came in from getting my car dug out of my driveway. my back feels like it is broken, and i used the snowblower on it. i also took the car up to the village to get some things, and had to come home because it is not plowed and no place to park.
