With your comment about the Confederate Flag you probably just offended about half the folks on this Forum .

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
HD STILL can't get their tune up right!

If a person wants to display a confederate flag because they're proud of their southern heritage, that's one thing.
If a person is from the 'north' (the biker is from this area) and they display a confederate flag for 'other' reasons, that's quite another thing, don't you agree (unless of course, you're like minded)? I don't believe that I have to spell out what those 'other' reasons are, do I?
If I offended anyone with my post, I guess that you'll just have to get over it, or not.

The Confederate flag is like the Bible. People tend to make it mean whatever fits their agenda instead of what it actually stands for. The Confederate flag shouldn't offend anyone. And it wouldn't if they would take it for what it actually represents. But that isn't going to happen. You'd think we would find more to come together on instead of working so hard to find things to disagree about.

The Confederate flag is a part of our American history, just as many of the statues that closed-minded people had to have torn down. Removing these things does not fix a damn thing. They should remind us of our good and bad that happened in the past and be a reminder of how it all turned out. I know I sure feel better since they took Aunt Jemima off of my syrup bottle - NOT!

Agendas aside, what the flag actually stands for and represents can vary greatly, dependent upon one's background and heritage, among other identifying factors.

You can't erase history by hiding the things that remind us of it. I'm not suggesting that at all. The biker that I'm talking about is not a southerner, he's not displaying the confederate flag to celebrate his southern heritage...

The following is my attempt to get this thread back on track.
To the West of my house there is a Stop sign 1 mile away, to the East there is a Stop sign 2 miles away. If I am out on the front porch, I can identify if there is a HD coming from the West starting 1 mile away. If a HD is coming from the east, I cannot identify it's coming due to the distance and a lot of trees until it is very closer. Yes, they are loud.
