• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you had your monthly ride yet.

We rode to sunny California where it rained 4 out of the 5 days we were there. Our good gear kept us dry and I used my heated jacket to keep me toasty. Didn’t have to try out the heat on my new Russell Day-Long saddle though. 1,555 miles round trip. Next up is Tombstone which will be 1,100 miles round trip.

Loving winter, how about you??

Ann,

How is that new seat???

We took a 250 mile ryde on Saturday through the foothills and into and out of the Napa Valley! Some absolutely awesome roads and the weather was perfect. Ranged from 50 at the start to 62 by the end of the day. It was just after a nice rain on Friday an drew the air was crisp, clear and fresh! Sorry about all of the COLD the rest of the country is dealing with, but had to get out and enjoy!

Haven't been out yet this month but I did get in 100 miles on Dec 30. Too cold right now and I had a friend in Manti (20 miles away) offer to store Charlotte in side. If we get a really nice day,I'll go dig her out.

Today is our first day in 2018 to get above 32 degrees. Supposed to be pretty decent this week (up to the 60's), but there is also talk of rain. I did back the M109 and spyder out on Saturday and let them run for about 10-15 minutes.

Finally got February's ride in

My wife said it didn't count unless it had a destination, so took it to church this morning. 27 degrees, but at least the sun was out.

I see you folks have snow--but at least the roads are clear.:yes:

Mother Nature gave us about a foot of snow this last week. Three more inches coming today. The countdown remains--about a month until the ice melts off the roads (give or take a couple weeks).

Somewhat clear anyway. A few wet spots, so now I’m going to have to wash it. Actually saw another bike when I took it to the gas station.

Count your blessings Trent, I'm a mere 10 degrees further north, 8 hours east of RCSD and we've got snow covered (but plowed) roads, 2 - 3 ft snow berms around the driveway, an no safe Spyder riding for at least a month or so.... Shoot, this mornings 4 inches of snow now make my snow blower have to reach to clear the snow berms...

NO,

We have about 3 feet of snow!
I have another 3 weeks to go before I can ride.

We have had our 3rd nor-easter in 3 weeks and an other snow storm next week:gaah: :gaah::gaah:.

Hurry up spring!

Deanna

Now if I can get some time in the garage and get the bike back together its suppose to be 59 deg by Friday. Might be my first ride of the season

1st "real" ride of the year and on the new ride

Just a short after work ride up to Keystone & Mt. Rushmore. Took the back roads of course... mid 60’s today.

Mt. Rushmore in the background.

:congrats: We have had some 40 degree melt days here. Today, back to low 30's and four more inches of snow. It's looking like it will be April for that first ride for me.

Actually the winter has been so mild here this year that I had to get the Spyder back out of storage, just too many good days. I have been back to moto commuting since the middle of Feb. Miss a day or two now and again for cold or snow but mostly ok.
