• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you had your monthly ride yet.

We had a 50 degree day yesterday so I made sure to get one in. Just a short 20 mile around town but it counts...

Oh Yeah..!!

You really need to specify the east to west and north to south boundries or you will get a lot of disappointing responses....:roflblack: glad you are still ryding over there...

Monthly Ride

Still just 12 degrees in The Lovely Land of Indiana. They say 1/11/18 maybe hit 50.:yes::yes::yes: I 'm so ready to RYDE the SPYDER.

Been almost 3 months since my last ride (Oct 12/17) and am anticipating another 3 months before I get my first one of the year. It warmed up to 0 deg c yesterday, but the 10" of snow isn't going away anytime soon......:banghead:

-21 (Yes, minus) (F) in central Mass this morning. Even colder I hear in VT and NH. Even Mr. Gerbing's gear won't help right now!

We rode to sunny California where it rained 4 out of the 5 days we were there. Our good gear kept us dry and I used my heated jacket to keep me toasty. Didn’t have to try out the heat on my new Russell Day-Long saddle though. 1,555 miles round trip. Next up is Tombstone which will be 1,100 miles round trip.

Loving winter, how about you??

Very true, should have specified for us “weather less fortunate” in the great white north...

Unfortunately not yet, only because it's in the shop (valve cover gaskets &intake boot cracks):sour: Ben mostly short stuff back on my two wheeler 100m or mostly round town errands just not the same, but better than nothing. Keeps me in practice manual clutch & all functions Had to learn for riding in first place. :coffee::ohyea:

No rides yet this year. Still doing the countdown to March 1st. Anytime after that its riding time once the black ice melts off my country road.

52 days to go.:yes::yes: Last time I checked it was at about 150 days. Time flies when your having fun. :roflblack:

FIRST RIDE OF JANUARY

I took my first ride of the new year this afternoon. It was a balmy 40 degrees. I rode 59 miles in about an hour and 20 minutes around the area. Even though I live in the south it has been brutally cold for this time of year. We should be in the 50's later in the week before the next arctic blast.

Forecast looks good for Wednesday, 1/9/18

and also lookin' good for our annual Polar Bear Ride - 1/13/18.

Looking forward to both!!!

Took a 70 mile ryde up Kolob Terrace Road to Kolob Reservoir (the high country in Zion National Park). 64 deg F at 3000', 46 deg F at 8,000' (the reservoir). Beautiful day.

Wednesday we leave for Tombstone, Arizona.

Are you taking the freeways or the scenic route over the dam and down thru Wickenburg?

Supposed to steadily warm up and may break 60 by the end of the week, even if its just mid 50's, it's time to ryde ! (North Georgia)

Left the house at 0 degrees yesterday for a short 25 mile trip on the snowmobile. Might as well have been on the Spyder, same seating position, same handling.....sled is snappier
