• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No, but maybe I should quit riding my Spyder, as some have, because if I ride something could go wrong.... :dontknow:

Ahhh....but then I'd have to ride something else and something could go wrong with that.

I could walk but someone might run over me.

I just don't know what to do.... :helpsmilie:

Yes a few months after I got my spyder in 2008 it went into limp mode and I called roadside assistance that BRP was to provide and waited 5 hours and several phone calls before I finally limped it into the dealer that was 20 miles away myself at no more than 45 mph. Spyder was at dealer's for 18 days, never told me what the part was but it had to be ordered. Since getting it back I've got 13,000 on it and haven't had any other problems. Just don't like the brake noise.

Happy spyder owner - :2thumbs:

I,m in Limp mode ALL the time unless I,m walking my 2 miles a day on the treadmill hanging on for dear life!!!:ohyea:

Now My :spyder2: Don,t LIMP.. Dats why I ride IT??

DUE TO A CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT 5 YEARS AGO :cus: I AM ALSO ALWAYS IN LIMP MODE! I HAVE LIMITED USE OF MY LEFT LEG, CANNOT RIDE A 2 WHEELER AGAIN, SO I WILL KEEP RIDING MY :spyder2: FOREVER, PICKED IT UP IN THE MIDDLE OF JUNE PUT OVER 8K ON IT TILL I PUT IT AWAY DEC 1ST. NO PROBLEMS HAD 1 UPDATE {ONLY ONE I HEARD ABOUT]

Not only are they blue, but they're to be taken orally and not otherwise.:shemademe_smilie:

Oh! Now you tell me! I'm 0 for 2 on this then. But since I'm down to my last Blue pill is it ok to take it out of where I've been putting it and... Well, they are reusable right!?

I figure a big glass of water and who will know... :dontknow:

March 2008 multiple error codes - towed to dealer - replace angle sensor and ECM. Good since then.

At 65+ on the freeway, three miles from the dealer, following the mandatory update. Took three attempts to upload the software before the Spyder would go more that a couple of miles - since then, it's been fine.
