• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2014 RT limited & sometimes my radio & nav unit will loose power while riding.......... my Iphone is plugged into the rear trunk & will be playing great then every so often the music will stop & I can look down & the nave unit has lost power also & shows running on internal battery mode..... then a minute or so later all will come back on & this will last 10-30 min then all over again.

Has anyone has this problem on their Spyder

nav unit is factory. so that eliminates the aftermarket non-compatible issue

I also have a 14 but never had that problem, sounds like a loose connection somewhere, first place i would check is the fuse box and make sure every fuse is seated tight.

You've got a loose connection... :gaah:
The problem is; WHERE??
I don't know if those systems draw their power from the same circuit...
This is one, that should be left for the dealer to find; Good luck!

Little checking..!!

agree with starting with the fuses/relays. Doubt its battery connections or you would have other problems. After that you would have to check all the harness connections. Could be as simple as a bent pin. Then its the dealer which most are not audio oriented...:gaah:

Take it back to who ever installed it. I recommend a crimed connection, this will not wiggle out and loose continuity.

thinking about it i would say it might be a lose ground somewhere, and i still think your a beautiful lady

like i said b4 i think it is a lose ground, it has to do with the entertainment harness, the wires for it run under the left side panel where it integrates with the rest of the system, so i think a trip to the dealer is your best bet

not to steal her post, i was going to do it today and when i got up my sugar crashed to 40 and it wiped me out so there is always tomorrow i hope

I have the same issue.it ha] need two or three times.I narrowed it down to two possible areas.either a short in harness ,
Or the trailer module created it when it went bad.
I have a 2013 ft lt. The first time it happened the dealer said it was a bent pin. Worked for a couple days started again.the other times it did it when the trailer module blew.Uninstaller BRP's harness system and installed one from big bikes, has not had issue since.
If you don't have a trailer harness, then I guess it is a bad connection
Have dealer check it.

all the fuses have been checked & rechecked...... so prob is in the entertainment harness somewhere....... & smoooooches to all of you just special smoooooches to cruzrjohn hahaha
