• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well I started with a used 2008 GS two years ago, put 7000+ miles on it and got the itch for something newer/more comfort. Went to local dealer and decided to shop with my eyes closed, just sit on the various models to find the "Feel" . Found myself on a Metallic Black 2015 ST, went for a test ride. What!!! No squealing rear brake:yes::yes::yes:. Better fit to my 6'3" frame and upright seating for my back. Better lighting, very visible Front Turn signals, getting better all the time. Traded the 2008 in and transformed to the 2015.
Dealer set the windshield at the top most position, terrible buffeting on the way home in a 25mph headwind, stopped and lowered the windshield to the lowest setting, no more buffeting! Dealer warned me that it might stall stopped and at idle while it was breaking in, at MP 1.5 it did, restarted immediately and has not done it since.
Did a 300 mile ride this past Saturday, mostly very twisty one land logging road over the coast mountains, SPYDER made happy purring noises all the way.:yes: Me too!!!!

Congratulations!

I have a 2013 STL with over 60,000 happy miles and still love it. I wish they would put the 1330 in it and I would buy another one today. Keep riding my friend you will be happier the more you ride it:yes:

:congrats:Congrats on the new ride!!! I have had my STS for just over a year and love it!!!!:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:
I did have a Laser Alignment done and added a BajaRon sway bar in the first couple of weeks I had it. Now it tracks like it is on rails!!
Good luck and ride safe!!!!

:congrats::clap: & a smooth spyder backrest will make it even better for ya:firstplace: 1330 would be nice but you should be accustom to the 998 & already know the service intervals:coffee: So will allow you more ride time:doorag: Enjoy
