Half helmet with Bluetooth

Since it seems impossible to find a 3/4 helmet that fit my wide head, I think I am resorting to getting a half helmet for summer. I want to have the blue tooth head set on it, and since I already own a sm10 I don't want to buy the $200 half helmet Sena. I also must have an internal visor.

so I have 2 choices: scorpion exo100 which is discontinued, or the bell pitboss which requires I wear the winter neck thing in summer so I can use the speaker pockets.

Anyone on here use a 1/2 helmet with blurtooth?

suggestions?

I have a G Maxx convertible helmet that tends to run big and can use BT with it. Might be a solution.

You can get "speaker pockets" for half helmets. I'm getting ready to order a couple sets.

we have pockets that we put on our half helmets and they work great...we pur4chased them at our local honda shop ....half helmet adapters...

I went to a local supply shop who had a great selection and great service. Tried on the Bell, (does not fit my head).

Then I tried on the Scorpion C110. When the salesman told me it included the ear pad pockets that would hold speakers,... DONE!

I am pleased to report that the helmet is Great.
Does not pull of my head at highway speeds, mounting bluetooth was easy, earcups take away a lot of wind noise, and the speakers sound louder than my 3/4 helmet.

I expected more buffeting at speed, and found there to be a LOT less than my 3/4, but even less than my GTair. So I pushed it up to 90 and found it smoothed out, and was very comfortable.

it also has vents which help my sweaty head.

So if you are in the market for a half helmet, look at the scorpion if you dont have a long oval head. If thats the case, the bell pitboss will fit better, but in my opinion, its not as well built...

funny thing, scorpion 3/4 helmets, dont even come close to fitting my head.

I use the Scorpion exo 100 with the Scala G9 for summer riding.

looked for an exo100 but you can't get one anymore. 110 is its replacement.

I already own the SM10 set and dont want to spend $200 per headset.
This works great!
