• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The snow is coming down today, but it won't stick... only 38 degrees. It has rained for the last 7 days and no sunshine but thankfully, tomorrow the sun will be out again. Just in time for a PGR ride in the morning to the Montevallo National Cemetery.

Welcome to OUR world... ;)
Do they have the machinery to deal with cleaning the roads off, or do you just have to wait it out?

In Charlotte, NC they have pickup trucks with OSB strapped to the grill. Highly effective:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Been raining like crazy here in East TN and suppose to snow tonight. I've got PSS (Parked Spyder Syndrome) bad :banghead::gaah:

Yea, sunshine tomorrow! I'll get to finishing replacing my rear brake pads and make that "Brake Failure" orange light go away!

Started several days ago. Reconnected the parking brake cable but it went wonkers anyway.
i'll be calling ya Lamont.

PSS...me too

I feel your pain, Lamont. Today is the 6th day straight of really crappy weather here in SE VA. Last weekend was solid fog and drizzle and it hasn't stopped raining all week. Like you, we are expecting snow tonight. Hopefully it will be all clear tomorrow AM...I have a PGR mission with an 8:45AM assembly time tomorrow...hope I'll be able to make it.

Is snow in Alabama something that happens regularly, or is it sporadic? Just curious.

We are now back to "normal" for the moment. Twenties (above) almost 10 inches since yesterday. I am going to wait for it to stop and then fire up the snowblower.

Back in 1992 we got about 4 inches of snow. A blizzard by our standards. The snow team where I live was a couple of prisoners in the back of a beat up Ford throwing out red dirt on a bridge. That was about it. Never even seen a snow shovel in my life!

You guys are reminding me why I moved to Southwest Florida. It's been in the 80s every day and high 60s at night since Christmas.

We are getting a cold snap this weekend though. Daytime highs might be as low as 70. That's jacket weather down here!

At 70, I am starting to complain about how hot it is, and wringing the sweat from my shirt. I guess that is why my wife calls me the human furnace.nojoke
