The monster that lives in my utility room is awake and keeping my little home a comfortable 74 degrees. It'll take a week or two for me to acclimate to this cooler weather. Then I can lower the thermostat a degree or two and still be comfortable. Stay safe..... Jim

The current temp in Vermont is 28 degrees and clear.

Today it was a cold start to this Saturday, with temps starting off in the single digits and teens. The rest of the day was pretty decent, however, with most sunny skies and highs in the 30's and 40's. Sunday will be partly sunny, with slightly warmer highs in the mild 30's & low 40's.

Late Sunday night and Monday, we'll be in between two systems:one to our northwest, and a coastal low to our southwest. Valley rain and wet mountain snow will continue Monday, through it will taper off Monday afternoon. Precipitation doesn't look to be heavy, and the system will be a fast mover, but a few inches of heavy, wet snow is possible in the higher elevations, making for a slick Monday morning commute. The valleys will have mainly rain.

We'll have a blast of cold air on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 20's to low 30's. Snow showers are expected. Wednesday will be a quite day, then Thursday is looking a little unsettled with partly sunny skies and the chance of snow showers. Highs will be a bit chilly in the 30's with lows in the teens and 20's.

Everyone be safe, and healthy during this holiday season!

Deanna

While my spyder has been tucked away for a week, the official riding season for me ended today. Measurable snow, high temps in low 30* and salt on the road = done till next year.

The high will be 71 degrees today here in the desert. There are some high clouds filtering the sunshine. There is an 8-10 MPH breeze. Humidity currently at 36%. Overnight low is forecast to be 54 degrees. We'll warm up to the mid 70s the first part of next week before cooling down to the mid 60s by next weekend. No rain is expected. Going on a little trip to visit relatives this afternoon. Taking the convertible......top down, of course! Stay safe..... Jim

Monday 11/27/23

:chat:...Welcome back from your Holiday Weekend. I hope everything went well and that you all avoided any problems in the Health arena. For me I am good, but my Mother got covid-19. She is going to be 96 this December. Thank You for your Prayers.

Currently we have overcast sky and 29°F with a very lite dusting of snow on the grass. Not enough to be classified as a snow event. The roads were a little bit of a problem going to Church yesterday, more of a 'Black Ice'. Maybe get some more snow showers this morning.

High today of only 31°F with some clouds.
Low at 14°F. Going to just stay put in the warm house. Got a few things to check out and of course the 'Honey Doos'.

Stay in the Game and play Fair. ....
