• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

At Americade, arntufun and I were kicking around an idea of having a ride friday afternoon after the poker run, any thoughts of those that are coming.

I'm a little upset that the details of this event are not listed on the registration page and if they don't hurry up and post the details we might have trouble working this in. This was the same trouble we had when they were supposed to have the dates for this event set before Dec 2011 and it was not posted till Feb 2012. :banghead:


Food for thought..............Between the poker run and Friday night dinner gathering who knows when these will take place because everything says TBD. We might have to do this ride on Saturday morning before the closing ceremony banquet. :dontknow:
 
You'd think that BRP would have set the schedule a long time ago seeing it's one of thiers..The end result is that they'll get a much smaller crowd than they should have.

This event has nothing to do with BRP, it's the other sites fault. nojoke Your right, this will hurt the attendance because of this procrastination (wow.... big word).
 
Need some details

I sure would like to come up for this event. I will have to take some time from work, so I have to plan this out. 1st, Do we need to register to go? If so, where do I do this? What site? Is there a cost/fee involved? 2nd, where is everyone staying? I will need to book a place soon if I do make this trip. It looks like I would go on Thursday after work. It will take me about 4 hours or so to get to Lake Placid. Friday for me would be open to whatever events are going on at the time. As of right now this is all tenative for me and not cast in stone. Any information that you can share for me would help me to make a final decision. I sure wish that the SITA event was in the last weekend of August. The company that I work for is having a forced shutdown in that week to upgrade there computer operating system. Unfortunately, that won't work out in my favor. Anyhow, fill me in on details if you can someone. Thanks!
