Grimes, IA to Dubuque

Anyone here meeting the group in Grimes, IA at Hicklin Powersports? Looks like the group is riding to Dubuque for an overnight stay. Just curious. We're thinking about meeting up with the group in Dubuque and riding along the river a bit

I am on the west side of Iowa. Will not be on the ride. But it should be a nice ride along the river. Fall colors could be good, and the road along the river has some nice scenery. We we over that way last fall and really enjoyed the area.

Sorry, dates are Oct 13-15. Sounds like Saturday they wanna ride north out of Dubuque and on the WI side, then cross over and come down along the IA side, stopping at a half dozen overlooks and a couple parks during the loop. We've done this ourselves in the past and really like the area. The weather is really messing up the colors this year, but regardless, it's still an awesome area to ride

would be glad to hear more info as it gets closer. dubuque is a little over 90 miles from us.
we have been no farther than balltown.

I'm in southern WI myself, so I don't know many of the details. We have some friends that might ride with the group from Grimes, IA and meet us in Dubuque. Sounds like the plan is to meet up at the Super 8 in Dubuque on Friday evening. Then the ride on Saturday....other than that I don't know much. Just a small group the way it sounds

We will be leaving the Super 8 on highway 20 in Dubuque at 9AM on Saturday, October 14. If anyone wants to come along, meet us at Super 8 before 9AM. If you are so inclined, put your order in for a rainless, sunny day for that weekend. ray:

Dubuque

We are planning to be in the Dubuque area and north all day Saturday. We will be staying at the Super 8 in Dubuque on Saturday night and going home on Sunday. Those are the plans anyway.
