• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS & Mounting

After traveling to Lamont' and ryding around MV, etc., it became very obvious that I needed to get a GPS unit. I am indebted to my ryding companions (all of which had GPS) because I hadn't a clue how to get to various places and had no idea where in the heck they were leading me. :roflblack:

Last weekend one of my projects was installing Robobrackets on my BRP Ultra Touring windshield. As I was making some adjustments it came to mind that I read in a forum that someone(s) had attached their GPS to the Robobrackets. The location would be perfect. I've searched since the weekend but haven't found it v

Anyone know where it can be found ... or attached their GPS to the brackets and how? Thanks.

I didn't attach a RAM mount to the Robobracket, but I did put one on the similar CHAD bracket on Nancys GS. It works real well.

Did you have to modify it or did it just screw to the mount on the CHAD adjuster?
I merely replaced one of the adjusting wingbolts with a RAM ball with a stud screwed in to it. I had to adjust the stud length and add some washers to allow it to tighten adequately.

Wanted to thank everyone for the ideas and comments and Scotty and Dale for their pics of their particular GPS mounts. I did it a little differently and it works great.
