Last Saturday, Teddy & I met up with Kagey_98 at the Milford American Legion Hall for the "Ride for the Runts" charity ride. Mind you now, this was our (Teddy & I) very first actual "biker" rally as all of our other Rallies for the past 2 years have all been Spyder oriented Rallies. Also, neither Teddy nor I had never ridden a traditional motorcycle, so we were both rather naive to the "Biker" culture, besides of course, what is portrayed in the media.
Well, it was hot, not as hot as currently, but still sunny and in the 90's. Well, I had the sun/shade canapy prototype mostly complete and installed on Teds Red Sled, so thought we'd give it a try on this Rally.
Here comes my learning moment. I had (still don't really) no clue what the differences were between an American Legion Hall and a VFW Hall, but one thing I quickly discovered, they all have
BARS:cheers: and it would seem, the majority of the 2 wheel ryders we were with, had no issues with downing a few at each of our stops. At the Milford one, I didn't see anyone drinking alcohol, and maybe that's because we had a police escort & it was only 11am but at the 2nd and third one, man o' man, they were  So much so, I didn't feel comfortable ryding in the group, and decided since we were rather close to where my sister lived, I didn't want to chance ryding back to Milford with them after the last "American Legion Bar Stop." So we said our good byes & headed to my sis's house.
Moral of the story: When its HOT, Teds Red Sled only gets up to 5
BARS no matter how many
BARS we visit:roflblack:
