• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got one for you Scotty

On the RT,back of the machine under the seat there are wires that go from the machine to the seat at the rear. :dontknow: What are they for?
Thanks.:ani29:

Yes, as stated above the passenger sensor.
This tells the computer nannies that you have a passenger which in turn adjusts the VSS (Vehicle Stability System) response.

I had some more jokes here about mind reading ignition sensors, but I self censored.

:roflblack: Thanks:ani29:

After several times asking, BRP told me it was only on the RTS and yes senses the 2nd passenger but was for the air ride to auto adjust:dontknow: Maybe it's both, VSS and Air ride:shocked:

:hun: All Spyders have the seat sensor. It changes the braking distribution when a passenger is carried. Not sure who put the LSD in the Froot Loops of whoever you talked to, but the RTS senses ride height via a sensor at the swingarm. It doesn't care if you have a passenger, weigh 300 pounds, or have your bowling ball in your saddlebags...it just senses ride height and adjusts according to how you have the control set.
