• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

From BRP inviting me to enter for a chance to win a Spyder. So, started filling out the form, but when I came to the part that asks for country of residence, Canada is the ONLY choice:hun:. Since I am not planning to move to Canada, guess I'm out of luck.

Good to know...

Brp has a lot of specific to a country stuff going on and they don't seem to let you know. I was searching a part on a reverse shifting mechanism and found the fiche had an inset stating for models in Brazil...:hun: the turn signals are different in europe but Japan has yet a stranger looking set up...One knows they have to meet the spec's for each but internal parts and special offers should not go out to everyone if they are not eligable....:dontknow:

I think they are probably trying to get more Canadians on Spyders. I don't know this for sure, but I'd guess they probably sell more, per capita, in the US, and I sometimes wonder if that is a little embarrassing for them. :opps:

Another Gold Star for the BRP Marketing Team. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I got a survey request about a month ago. Was happy to fill it out. When they got to my annual income and I checked off a box under $100,000, they promptly ended the online survey.

Guess I don't need :f_spider: number six and I am no longer a viable customer since I don't have the proper income any more. :dontknow:

Good point

I am seeing more Spyders already this year than last couple years up here in the Great White North but I think that yes there seems to be a bigger concentration down there ...... Could be the longer season to ride ??? The price scares many I talk to since a new base model ends up over $18.000 CDN after our lovely tax man throws his hat in the ring . Attitudes are changing though . I haven't got the Email from BRP I don't think ..... Better check my junk folder

:D You betcha!
