• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good Video

Nice !!

audio would be nice but informative. Good video to run at the dmv testing stations around the country...

I have had a few close calls over the years on motorcycles. One of the reasons I bought a Spyder is that I think the broad front will be more visible than a two wheeler to oncoming traffic.

Me and my wife almost got hit yesterday. I still don't know how I missed him and a good thing no traffic was coming the other way. He pulled out from a side street . he sat there till the very last then came out. Close way to close.

Did you catch the bit about training at the end? I've said it before, and I'll say it again, training is vitally important for all riders, even though it isn't entertaining. Their continual push of training is one of the strong points of Goldwing Road Riders of America. Sadly, in a survey of what the local Spyder Riders group wanted to have for activities, training was something like 5th or 6th in priority out of a list of 7.

Proper riding techniques by motorcyclists is just as important as awareness on the part of cagers. Don't blame cagers for their inattentiveness if you haven't done your part to learn how to ride safely.
:lecturef_smilie: mode off!

Very very good video but if big bear and the officer want to be safe then they should wear protective gear. Neither were
wearing jackets. Yes the car should drive better but it is personal re·spon·si·bil·i·ty to protect yourself against the
careless mistakes of others. Insurance may pay but remember 2 legs, 1 arm & an eye may cost $6 million.
Ride safe, my wife & i always do.

When I read that comment all of a sudden it hit me. Riding safe does not mean the same thing as ride safely. To ride safe means to have the proper protection in case something goes wrong. Riding safely means ride in such a manner so that something does not go wrong.
