Good cheaper windshield option

Like many, I baulk at the prices BRP charge for accessories, but had almost made up my mind to get the new Adventure windshield.

It's taking a while to become available so whilst patiently waiting I remembered I had a Puig Touring ll windshield from years ago. It fits the Ryker like a dream and really enhances the lines. Best of all it's very reasonably priced.

I love someone ( else ) who can think out of the box :clap: ........ waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 09, I turned my GS into something closer to a touring spyder ..... I had a windshield from a GW 1200 ..... I trimmed a bit at the bottom to fit and designed mounting brackets to attach to the handlebars .... my windshield actually " turned " with the handlebars ..... back in 12, I was at a Spyder event in the Adirondacks in NY and camped with " Arntufun & Holly ... plus Dave " CyncySpyder " with Ted's Red Sled ) and they did a really funny video about my 08 and all the Mods I had done ".... it inmight be in the archieve's here somewhere .... >I did find some pics posted by Dave on 8/10/2012may be Wyliec can post a link ..... thinking of getting the touring II--do you look over the shield? can you open the frump? how do you like it for wind resistance and buffeting? thanks
