• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GO Pro Camera mounting help

Does anyone have a good procedure for mounting a Go Pro Camera to a 2011 RS? Got one from the wife and I really want to protect my camera. She also got me a roll bar mount, but just wanted to know if anyone has mounted a camera and what would be the best way to protect it? Thanks.

I have an older unit and I carry mine in an Otterbox design for holding cigars. There is a light foam attached inside the case. I keep several sets of rechargeable batteries in there too.
www.batterystation.com is where I got the box. I think I got the 2500 model size.
They also have the little battery holder boxes for 4 AAA batteries.

As for mounting, I use one of their slide in mounts on the top of my RT's dash panel. I have a first generation GoPro and can see the blinking light inside the viewer to check to see that's recording. Not sure how the newer one's work?

Hope this helps?

2012-12-01_10.00.20.jpgI put mine on the right side mirror( so i could see the red blinking light) and i have 1 on my helmet also. The suction cup works good about anywhere. u can get any mount at gopro.com or ebay. I am fixn to put more mounts n other spots as soon as the weather gits a bit nicer so i can text ride an see the video. I have the new Hero3 i think they r smaller then the older 1s.Cant wait to ride n the ozarks with it!!
