• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Glad I got my spyder fix this morning...

bjt and I rode our Spyders into church this morning and to the grocery store. I had planned on trying to ride to work this afternoon but we are in Michigan. The snow started spitting around 1:30pm and has done nothing but get worse. Let me put it this way, the weather outside is frightful and not spyder friendly. So, I had to drive the suburban into work.

Very nice, Deb! I was planning a little ride this morning. Then; the rain came. Tonight's forecast calls for more rain, with a possibility of snow flurries tomorrow. We will see!

No fix here woke up to some snow with a messy change over to rain, This time of year I need a Russell day long Couch

I considered riding for the paper and breakfast this morning, but the driveway was still pretty icy. I could have made the 80 feet to the street with the Spyder, but the idea of putting on my longjohns for a three mile ride didn't appeal to me, either. Good thing I didn't. By the time I left breakfast it was snowing. By noon we had about two and a half more inches. Slowed down now, but a couple more inches expected by morning. Sometimes I wish I was a snowmobile rider.

Ever since I put the slider EIII on the spYder, the weather in NWPA has been merciless bad. Today started out at 16F with light snow, by noon it was 33F and raining and tonight it is 31F and freezing rain. The roads have large areas of black ice. Not bad driving the 330Xi Beemer, but definitely not spYder rYding weather.
As soon as Advent and Christmas and New Year are over, I plan to head south with spYdie in the trailer and do some rYding in the Carolinas.
I still haven't had a chance to experience the slider windscreen.:opps:

Deb,

Do you and bjt get the same response from the people at the church that I do?

I'm the crazy priest who rides a spYder. :2thumbs: they just shake their heads.

From some, oh yeah, from others, they are just curious if we rode today and they kind of expect it. Our associate pastor loves these but what he really wants in a Goldwing. I think he had one when he was younger and wants one again. On cold days, we always get asked if we rode our spyder or not, or if it's time to put them away. I think it is pretty fun myself. Hey, I think your parishioners should consider themselves lucky to have such a cool "crazy" priest. LOL

I don't want to rub it in...

Four of us took a ryde today...

Great pic, and yes you did want to rub it in....:DLOL I am glad you had a good day to ride. Take advantage of what you have, for sure.

Yes, the weather was MAGNIFICIENT! It was close to 70 degrees out even out at the San Francisco Bay.

Glad to hear you got a change to get your fix.
