• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gauges for oil presure and voltmeter, what to get?

TicketBait

RT-S PE#0412
Interested in getting good/accurate information regarding my battery volts so I know when to replace, and info on oil pressure, before something bad happens
Does the Gauge for oil need to be 0-100 or 0-150psi

Found these. they are priced on the high side but I can mix and match what ever bezel and back ground configuration I want. Does the price make them more accurate?

I know there was discussion on water proof, I am not so concerned about that as that would be few occurrences where I live.

I will have these installed where my Gas and temp analogs were at on my RTS

I don't think price alone determines quality in gauges. Sure, a mid-priced gauge is probably better than a $5 bargain basement thing, but beyond that it is a matter of what features and look you want. Remember that the oil pressure switch on the Spyder has metric threads, and you will need the correct (and hard to find and fit) adapter to assure a leak-free mating to the gauge sending unit with US threads, (unless you buy a metric gauge). Just like mufflers, seats, and other mods...you pays your money and you takes your choice. :D
