• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gauge Glare

Has anyone figured out a solution to help be able to read the gauges on a new 2018 F3 during the daylight?

Appreciate any ideas.

You can go into the Settings ==> Display and increase the backlight to maximum. It will help legibility. (My top-of-the-line Harley Road Glide CVO has even worse glare.)

For any year, get yourself a anti glare screen protector for a tablet and cut to fit...stay away from the glass ones....cheaper is better in this case

What color is your riding jacket?
You're probably getting a reflection of it in your gauges: try wearing something darker.

Are your handlebars black: or are they gray?
If they're the latter: try putting a strip of electrical tape on the leading edge of them.

I have a 2018 RT and no glare in bright sunshine. Go to setup and try to adjust the display brightness.
