• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was wondering what perameters to use for our belts. It needs: weight in gf/Cm, width in mm, and span length. Also what it the Hz? Standard(10-600), low(10-50) and high(300-600).

I bought a belt tension gauge at NAPA for 18 bucks - set my belt to 220 lbs. get the flat belt gauge not the v belt.

Also a good basic test - your belt should move around an inch up and down total at the center with about 10 lbs of pressure

I have that as well but to me it looks like a broad range I want something more precise.

It is not necessary to be all that precise with our drive belt. The Gates gauge is more than accurate enough if used properly.
