• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Prices in California

...We paid $455.9 per gallon yesterday for 93 octane. That's WITHOUT any contrived shortages! :gaah:[/QUOTE]

Hey Bob, I think you're missing a decimal point or gas is real expensive in NY @ $455.9 per gallon. :D Dale

This is a pic that is making the rounds here in Kalifornia-soon to be in a neighborhood near you.

I am not sure how I feel about the entire thing but 1) what gets pumped these days in Kalifornia can hardly be called gasoline 2) Gas is still the cheapest and most densest form of energy we have for our vehicles 3) I am lucky in that I don't have to buy it unless I want to and 4) I suspect that it would have to reach $8 before there is any noticeable change in driving habits or any serious work done on alternate energy sources.

And I am not any happier about this contrived price gouging then anyone but when you turn over all decision making to the government you are going to get a lot more of this.

I guess a lot of the Hollywood stars [phonies] have to walk to the fund raiser party's, What with the price
of gas in California now days.:dontknow:

Paid 4.95 for premium - Saturday in La Quinta. The highest price listed in California today is Vidal Junction on highway 95 out by the Colorado River - regular is selling for 5.69

Some time in 2008 I paid $5.75 per gallon at the entrance to Death Valley. It was not like I could shop around. To this day that remains my personal best.
