Hi guys I just traded up from my Spyder RS to an RTS and pick it up this Saturday  I hope there are some techy-types here that can answer a question or two.
1.) Will the Garmin Zumo 665 integrate with the Spyder display and can the functions on the GPS be controlled with the left hand grip controls? (This is my understanding of how the BRP GPS/XM radio works.)
2.) What GPS mount and cabling would I need and where would I get it?
Some math:
The BRP website lists the GPS Navigation System @ $1,200.00 (Garmin Zumo 660) and the XM Satellite Radio kit for $450.00. Total = $1650.00.
The Garmin Zumo 665 has all the functions of the 660 and the XM Satellite Radio built-in and can be found for $750.00.
Total savings: $900.00
Now what I need is some good advice why I or anyone would want the BRP GPS/XM set-up. I know there are advantages and disadvantages to everything so I’m hoping you guys can point me in the right direction. I also wonder if my CanAM dealer would even install the GPS 665 or if it would void my warranty.
Thanks!
