So here is the information on why.
On the way to the Red Rocks Spyder Rally it stopped working. I ordered a new battery for it to be delivered to my first motel stop. Still didn't work. I the purchased a new 590LM and had it delivered to my next motel stop.
I called Garmin and they said it can be repaired, most likely the charging circuit. So, when I get back home Tuesday, I will switch registration numbers with Garmin and "you" can do as you wish in getting it repaired. 590 is a year and a 1/2 young with new battery. Let me know and we will figure out the swap, money for GPS.
What ever Garmin says is on the box is what's in the box.
