• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know a 2015 F3's standing current draw?

Does anyone know the current draw of an F3 with the engine off?

Picked up a new LIFePO and something drained it down to 4 volts... possibly it was a bad battery, replaced it, and went on search and destroy with a clamp on ammeter, but really found nothing. However, now I'm only getting a 100ma draw vs the ~500 to 800 previously.

Another fun fact is when the ignition is turned on, there is a 10 amp draw, but if you wait a few seconds, it drops to 6. Should help with the starting issue I hope.

I put a battery disconnect on all of the add on accessories, but that didn't make a difference on the draw.

And to top it off, the specific LIFePO battery tender does not work right. It's flashing between charging and full, with weird voltage fluctuations.

FYI, this will fit if you bend up the top holding bracket:

Mighty Max Battery Mighty Max Battery YTX20L-BS LIFEPO4-12 Volt 18 AH, 570 CCA, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery

Key off, after the cluster and ECM shut down in about 30 seconds or so, continuous draw should be less than 20ma. 3 to 5 is more typical on an F3S that has no audio system.
