• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FYI Imotorsports does not honor free shipping on Rykers

Jason did reach out to me and he was very apologetic and accepted responsibility for not having updated their marketing and website to reflect no free shipping on Rykers. The Rykers will also not be eligible for waived freight/setup/doc fees. Spyders will continue to be eligible for both. They will update their website and marketing materials to reflect these changes. Stated reason - low profit margin on MSRP and therefore need to make it up so free shipping is prohibitive. I own a business myself and totally understand that and have accepted their apology and and feel satisfied.

Thanks Richardo. It's really nice having a customer that will work with us to help solve a problem. Jason took the blame but it was just as much on me (Jeff) as I am the guy who is supposed to make sure that all our materials are correct.

Its always interesting for me to watch how the customer > company relationship has evolved for all of us and our ability to communicate digitally in almost real time. A lot of times that happens in a very public way. I'm not sure when you did the original post, but Jason's email hit my phone around 8pm and it hit the phones of the two owners at the same time. We start working on it, trying to understand the what, the why and can we fix it? Not everything is solvable but I do think we try as hard as anybody to keep our customers happy. Especially if we make a mistake.

Its incredibly busy here right now. We've been the #2 Can-Am on-road dealer by volume for a couple of years. We were the the #2 Indian motorcycle dealer by volume this year. We expanded into the Can-Am off-road vehicles and Sea-Doo (also BRP) this month. Logistically we have to train our people, adapt our processes and learn the market too. Its a challenge.

Can-Am Spyders were the very first product line that iMotorsports took on. We have been successful with Can-Am. We're always grateful and aware that Lamonster put in a lot of time and effort to bring together the Can-Am on-road community and we have been given access to that online space. They have a very high standard for customer service and we try to maintain the same.

Just had a FANTASTIC experience with iMotorsports and Mike Kay while ordering my 2022 Rally. Mike made it a great and fun experience, and I was treated very fairly. They went above and beyond tweaking things in order to honor their relationship with this forum. Thanks again, & I HIGHLY recommend iMotorsports and Mike Kay.

So exactly what is your shipping policy? You could have posted it. This would have cleared this up here and now with out having to look up your ads. I agree with the OP. If

policies are changed they should be forthcoming and with your ads before enforcing them.

So exactly what is your shipping policy?
Jack

Here is there current shipping policy as copied and pasted from their website:

Global Reach – Free Nationwide Shipping
“iMotorsports has delivered thousands of motorcycles to happy customers using our in-house logistics department. We make it simple and easy to have your bike delivered to your door. Select motorcycles and other inventory* priced over $5000 USD are eligible for free shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. That is right - your motorcycle will be shipped directly to your home anywhere in the lower 48 states.

*Can-Am Rykers, Personal Watercraft, ATV's and UTV's are not covered by our offer of free nationwide shipping. See dealer for details.“

Of note, is when the OP started this thread their web site did not have the *footnote but has since publicly updated their website as above.

Since they are a board sponsor, wouldn't it be more fair to change the title of the thread to " FYI Imotorsports no longer gives free shipping on Rykers"?

I felt that they would make it right, just a matter of time. I am truly glad to see them update their inventory. Those deals on left over 2020 spyders with up to $2000 rebates were really enticing. Glad things are squared away. I will still probably be looking to them again if I make a new spyder purchase.
