• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife has an 09 RS, and I ride a harley dresser. On a ride a while back, I barked at her to "go when I go" in reference to our previous stop sign.

She told me to quit yelling, and did a big burn out accross the intersection leaving me looking somewhat embarrassed.

Needless to say, I quit bitching, and she has learned how to utilize thw power she was blessed with:bowdown:

I had a Harley guy pull up next to me at a traffic light in Indy during the MotoGP races last year - he asked me if I could do wheelies with it - I said I dont know- Ill take off and you tell me at the next light.
Needless to say - smoked the tire thru 2nd gear to the next light.
I asked "so did front wheels come of the ground?"
The look on his and his girlfriends faces was PRICELESS!
Grinning from ear to ear they were
Got 2 big thumbs up :2thumbs:

I must admit, that I enjoy the conversations that this bike inspires. I have only been beaten by one car. It was a Corvette and I smoked him off the line of course, but after I hit 117mph he left me like I was standing still. Maybe I should stick to shorter races:dontknow:

Funny Story

I frequently receive a bemused and amused, quizzical look from HD riders (I used to be one). One guy said, "Aw, what a cute little Transformer. Can I fold it up and put it in my pocket?" I said he was welcome to try but I didn't think all those horses would fit in his pocket.

Some riders are disparaging and I think that is one of the things that distinguishes Spyder ryders from other riders. We respect all who ride. I'm proud that we are a "breed apart". I love my Spyder and it was the right choice for me!

:dontknow:
Why so sensitive, People that don't know Spyders will sometimes say things that sound insensitive just to start a conversion, most times no harm meant, Deal with it, And if you can with a smile,
