On to my tale of grea sorrow. :shocked:

I got up at 6:00 AM to take our TinkerBell out for her morning walk. I stepped outside, and there was broken glass in the driveway... on MY side of the garage!! :yikes:
Somebody busted the winbdows, got a hold of the garage door release, opened it up, and stole my bike! :gaah::cus::gaah::gaah::cus:


The Police left a while ago, and I've been in touch with my insurer. What do we do about replacing a bike that was built to order, and no more of them exist? :dontknow: After some careful negotiations: we've reached some common ground:
They'll pay me exactly what I paid for (including accessories, with no application of the deductible to the loss...
I think that I'll wait for the 2019 "Project-S" to be released, and get one of them :yes::yes::yes:

We even have the perfect license plate for it:

I actually thought the worse had happened, when you mentioned TinkerBell, and then you mentioned the broken glass, and I knew Tinker was OK. The other part was pretty funny; better than the kickstand, much better.

I was really feeling bad for you for a moment thinking your brand new 2018 bike that you waited months to arrive was stolen. Well...I was sad, and then I remembered what day it was, and then I saw the license plate.
