• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frunk Light Switch

The micro switch under my trunk lid broke and my dealer replaced it a few months back. According to the schematic diagram in the shop manual, this switch is dual position and operates both the hood actuator and the frunk light (or LED). It appears that they installed a single position switch (two wire) instead of the dual position switch (three wire). The hood actuator works but the frunk light does not.

So I have two questions:

1. Does anyone have the part number for the switch? I looked though the on line parts catalog but cannot find it anywhere. I assume that there is another options drawing which will include the switch. Possibly the Cargo Light Kit 219400147 or Electronic Front Cargo Release 219400185.

2. I have a shop manual on CD which I love. Does anyone know if an illustrated parts breakdown / manual is available? The on line parts catalog available on the BRP website seems incomplete.

I can't find it listed as Front Case Switch (FCS) in the parts fiche, either, but Roger appears to have found the right switch. It is listed under "Body & Accessories - Front", as a "Position Switch".
