• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am looking for recommendations for Frunk and Trunk Organizers plus lights. I have to dig around for small items that are now somewhere in the lowest recesses for the trunk. Got to be a better way. Also need lights for both. What have you guys done?

For lights, I installed small led lights that stick on, have an on/off switch and are really bright..a little smaller than a quarter..
Amazon: Button lamp, adhesive LED, 6 pack, BL-6885..
Also have an Amazon Basics zip semi-hard case for small objects..

I bought a small LED ( size of a pack of cigarettes ) ... It's very brite, very long battery life, and it's not permanently mounted. ... What are you going to do if you need some light other than inside either compartment .... Also cost $ 3.50 ( 5 years ago ) Truck stops have them for a lot more$$$ ... I got mine on flea-bay :roflblack: ..... Mike

What year is your spyder model?

I found and use the following 5-pocket mesh front frunk organizer,(brand ??) and a rear trunk organizer ( from Hopnel) and a rear trunk LED light from Spyderpops(this is very bright).

Check the the sponsors/and vendors on this site: Lamonster garage, Spyderpops, and Value Accessories and etc. to see what they have.

You can also check MY Album for pictures of my Frunk Organizer, and the rear trunk organizer, and the rear trunk LED light. Page 1 in MY Albums, shows the Trunk Organizer, and on page 3, shows the 5 pocket mesh front frunk Organizer.

Also on page 1 in MY Album shows my Rear trunk LED light from Spyderpops. This light is very bright.

I have a 2014 RTS-SE6.

Hopes this helps.

“FLO” (Frunk Lid Organizer) found at Spyderfest 26C0EB8C-4A4D-4BCE-97ED-9D81177D8BB7.jpeg as far as lights usually head lights still on & good enough, occasional will use a small flashlight plugs in 12V cig plug04BD6CCE-8B4F-46F4-AD93-9A95F53ADFDA.jpeg found at auto parts store. There have been other variations of FLO **fyi attaches to lid with peel & stick Velcro (5 pocket up front, 1 larger on the back side) unfortunately the sticky Velcro does not like heat & can peel off if parked in sun too long.

Small Lights

:chat:....I have gotten the Blue Oval Flashlights from Habor Freight. About $1.00 or $2.00 each. Sometimes they are even 'Free' with a purchase. ............ I keep one in each compartment. Good Price and Good Value. .....

my 2018 F3L has an LED light in the top case but nothing in the frunk. I don't usually ride at night so hasn't really been an issue. Plus I only use the frunk for things I don't need very often (rain gear, tire repair kit, heavy gloves, etc.)

Costco 3 pack of headlamps. Not only lights up the frunk but everything else. Helps you find something you dropped on the ground at "0" dark thirty at night. Also allows you to blind the krapenda out of anyone near you when you're not careful of course.

FWIW the button lights I referred to above are so small I was able to put one in the glove box without any interference..
