• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's in the 30's here and next week it drops into the 20's. Last year at this time it was in the 40's. WTH I have not ridden since late September:gaah:

Yup! Chicago area had a lot of that "good ol days" type of weather this year. I am also getting antsey. Will see what the next three weeks brings us.

I just saw a news report saying that for the "first time in recorded history": Lost Angeles never reached seventy degrees during the Month of February.:hun:
Where'd all that great global warming go? :gaah:

Drop the politics guys.

Going to start raining here tomorrow so I’m out today under grey skies enjoying a wonderful lunch at Taco Bell. :roflblack:

Sunny and 78 right now. Wife got (me) started on home improvement projects about 3 weeks ago. A couple more days and that will be done. Getting a bit of riding in but still have to stay out of the mountains due to the snow storm we had here last week. Another day or two and all the snow should be gone..... ..... Jim

This isn't Politics: it's just weather-bitching! :gaah:
Grap some Grande Nachos for me!

Gotta agree..... even though my location far from indicates it we have had weeks of on and off rain and tomorrow will start another round into next week with nights in the 30's and days in the 60's....must be why they changed it to "climate change" like the climate never changed before....:roflblack:

First statement: OP Topic was simply weather interference with riding, particular political interpretations for it are irrelevant. Basically it’s just a bummer when you can’t ride. I’ve been cageless for less than a year and I can’t imagine ever going back. To be wintered out must be torture for you guys that grew up doing this.

2nd Statement: Potato loaded griller and spicy bean burrito tasted great and resulted in heartburn 30 mins later as usual

Here in SW Idaho the mountains received about 300% of normal snowfall in February. But the valley is no more, or even substantially less, than normal snowfall in Feb. The elevation difference is only around 2000 - 3000 ft. Go figure!

Temperatures as much as 30 to 50 degrees below normal are entering the Northern Plains as we close out the workweek. Through the weekend, brutal conditions you might expect in a frigid January overtake the central portion of the country, from the Mexican to the Canadian borders.

Heading into the first full week of March, Arctic air takes up residence in the East as well. When it’s all done, most of the contiguous United States will endure a punishing blow of frigid air from this Arctic blast. Records for cold are likely to be most numerous in the north-central United States but will extend from coast to coast.

I hit the "Rattlesnake Steak Burrito & Fries today for lunch... :2thumbs:

and there was NO Political discussion: just the mentioning of two prominent Bureaucrats, who have a particular opinion.
Their opinions were NEVER mentioned in any of the two "offending" posts, not was any opinion offered of them... nojoke

They're politicians, not bureaucrats
