• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I found this link interesting... and it will provide Illinois citizens with something to think about. I saw it on the GL1800riders.com site and I hope providing you with this link is acceptable. If it isn't I'm sure LaMonster will remove it or let me know so I can.

I agree with what the videographer's are saying in that clip. I don't think forcing everyone to buy health insurance is a good solution to a national healthcare problem.

As for as I know; Everyone can have Insurance, they make the choice as to whether or not to buy it. Granted there are people who can not afford to pay for it but as for as I know they can go to any emergency room and get help. Only my 2 cents.

Cannot be turned away.

You are correct BMW, I work at a hospital in St. Louis Mo and we cannot turn away anyone. So in fact, everbody has health care coverage.

I think the videographers were way out of line, rude and frankly don't have a clue about the bill. Just screaming it's 'unconstitutional' doesn't make it so-- precedence has been set already on this kind of thing many times over - Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid aren't specified in the Constitution either--- but no one on either side seems to want those programs to be removed.

Rather than rely on a youtube video, how about getting the real facts instead:

This isn't perfect, but just like the other programs that were tweaked through the years (Medicare originally only covered 40% of all seniors)-- it's a great start.

Read the above link and be informed.

:agree: I think this topic is too hot for this forum. People have a tendency to make it personal instead of professional or straight opinions. The headline reads "Zero Tolerance- NO Political Post. Keep it clean and no personal attacks. Any profanity, sexual content or personal attacks or threats will be removed and the user may lose their privilege to use this site." Let's respect that.

The only other thing I'll say is that everyone should fully research things before commenting on them.

It's seems that many have not, or they would know that this program is NOT mandatory.

That's right - there are exemptions from participation - one of the biggest being a 'religious' exemption.

Everyone happy now?

No. Don't send me anymore of your little cutesy private emails... including the part where you ask if I sold my Spyder (inferring that I shouldn't post because I no longer own a Spyder).

There... now I'm happy. Back to regular programming.
