There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Memorial Day dawned cloudy and rainy. Rain is coming down as I look out the window. Today is also Heritage Day in Spring City and many of the Pioneer and antique homes as well as the art galleries are open for tourists. Of which there are usually tons, but probably not today. Ephraim the next little town south is also having Scandinavian Days in honor of the heavy Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian immigration to this area in the middle 1800's. I think it will get a rain reduced attendance as well. It rained yesterday as well but in between spatters I got the shift lever readjusted and tightened up so I should be good for another riding season, once the rain lets up.

Sunny, mid-90s and a little breezy (10-15 MPH) here in the desert. There are no clouds. By Memorial Day we will be in the low 100s. It's still cooling off to 70ish at night. Had a good day bobbing around the pool with friends this afternoon. There were a few visitors who stand out like "white on rice". Hope they use sunscreen. Thinking of the meaning of Memorial Day. Grateful for those who gave their all so that I have the privilege to enjoy my freedom. Stay safe..... Jim

:coffee:...Welcome to Memorial Day Weekend, currently we have overcast sky at 60°F. No afternoon rain showers yesterday. So I got to finish all my yard and trim stuff. Then I enjoyed some great Spyder Ryde Time.

The Weather News People are saying that we will get some heavy rain today. This could put a real damper on the Indianapolis 500 Race. Oh well, Time will tell on the rain.

High today of only 77°F with some rain showers. Low of 60°F and some more rain.
Enjoy your Holiday Weekend and be Safe.

Ryde if you are able and Stay Healthy.
Remember those that served us so we can have a Blessed Day and Freedom. ....

:chat:...I would like to take a little time to honor 'the Brave' men and women. Thank You for your Service.
I hope everyone will enjoy this Memorial Day with your family and friends.

Currently overcast sky and 62°F. Yesterday rain was a lot of water in a short amount of time. Several areas my yard have large bodies of water. Most of it will be gone by noontime today.
Well the Indianapolis 500 Race was finally run and they went the 500 miles.

Today it's going to be sunny with some clouds.
High of 74°F, should be a dry day.
Low at 60°F.

Enjoy your holiday and time off. ....

Going to get to 103 today. It's pool time for us desert dwellers. Did a little grocery shopping this morning. The local supermarket was giving an additional 10% discount to military members and veterans. That was 10% off everything after doing all the coupon specials. Nice to have a little something. Enjoy Memorial Day, remember the meaning and stay safe..... Jim

:chat:...Welcome back from the long weekend, currently we have overcast sky and 58°F.
Yesterday was a little chilly with the wind.
I enjoyed a slower pace and time with the wife and family.

The numbers for today are 74°F and 53°F.
Should be about the same as yesterday. A little more sunshine today.
Definitely going to get some Spyder Ryde Time. I hope you get some Ryde Time.

Stay in the Game and be Safe. ....

Another bluebird day today. Temps in the 80's.

We had a tornado here on Sunday AM.

From my Tornado thread: Sunday 3:30 AM or so an EF3 tornado rolled through our neighborhood. It killed one person, took out several homes and businesses, and uprooted full size trees like they were matchsticks. We had a tree blow down in our yard. Our home missed the "hit" by one mile. The tornado path looks just like a war zone. Our electricity has been out since then and finally came on at 8:00 PM Monday evening.

Please keep our neighbors in remembrance in your prayers. Several people have had their lives totally disrupted by this event.

Wednesday 5/29/24

...Sending out Prayers for those who were in harms way of Tornadoes in their local communities. I am thankful for not being in a Tornado zone.

Currently cloudy sky and 54°F.
Today's numbers are a little cooler than yesterday. High of 70°F with clouds.
Low at 48°F and no rain in our forecast.

Stay Safe and Enjoy your Ryde Time. ....

Yes, this has been a great week for Spyder Ryde Times. I usually do a morning ryde but with the cooler temperatures I have enjoyed ryding in the afternoon. .

Stay Safe when you Ryde. .....

It's now getting too hot to do much of anything outside here in the desert. I looked at the thermometer at 9:30AM and it was already at 90. Today we'll see a high of 104. There is a breeze of about 5 MPH but no clouds in sight. Nighttime cooling has crept up to the mid-70s. The Friday car shows I participate in have been suspended for the summer. A group of us still get together informally under the trees at the edge of a large mall parking lot. We meet for coffee and donuts at 8AM on Sundays and B.S. until the heat sends us home. Last Sunday I was home by 10. The weather gurus predicted a long hot summer for us this year. So far, they're correct! Stay safe..... Jim

Pacific NorthWET is still ringing true out here in Western Washington. Highs in the 50's, rain every day for the past week and more to come.
We joke about how summer starts July 5th.

Mid-June weather has come early here in the desert. Today, the last day of May, will have a high of 105. That's 5 degrees above our average for this time of year. We currently have a breeze of 3-5 MPH. There are no clouds. Looks like we MAY cool down a couple of degrees as we get into next week. See y'all next month. And...... stay safe. Jim
