• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey any folding chairs/bag chairs that fit in frunk? I know about the Kermit chairs anything else preferably not low to ground beach chairs(bad knees and all)..Wife and I sometimes picnic on Sunday mornings ,would be nice to take along instead of trying to find a bench or picnic table..Thanx

Those were the ones I was thinking of! Are they sort of comfortable? Thanx for the link!!

I have used them a couple of times, sitting comfortable for a couple of hours. The only thing that takes getting use to is assembling the legs, make sure you have them fully inserted. I like the size of these, I can strap it on the back seat of my F3 and it doesn't look out of place like the normal folding chairs. I just verified it will fit in the side compartment of my F3T, so it should also fit in the F3L and 2020RT Topcase.

I recommend putting it together (for familiarization) and try it first before using it at some type of event.

If you own a spyder because you have bad knees or hips and you're thinking about buying one of these chairs, think twice. They are a B***H to get out of once you sit down in one.

So, with bad hips or knees stay away from the low chairs, but need a chair to fit in the spyder, but you don’t want to spend much? That may be difficult to find a chair with all those restraints.

I just want to apologize, as I got ahead of myself. After working in physical therapy all these years and talking to ortho drs., and having them show me X-rays, and comparing someone who has no complaints of pain, and having more arthritis than someone with much less arthritis. So, what is a bad hip/knee?, I have no idea. Okay, back on topic. By the way, I was only talking osteoarthritis.

I got one of these. Got one leg amputated at the knee. Hard for me to stand up from a low stool or chair. This one won't fit in a frunk, but it rolls up small and supports 300 pounds. I don't weigh near that much, but the more it is rated for, the longer they usually last. This one is about 20 inches high when it is set up. It is fairly easy to stand up from. It will strap on the pillion, no problem.

I'm assuming your talking about an RT, because I don't think there is a folding chair small enough to fit in the F3 frunk. I have a folding chair similar to this, it's close to 14" in length, which I think may fit in an RT but can't verify since I sold my RT.

These are the ones I ordered for $21 each from EBAY my wife would have my head if I spent $220 for a chair for the spyder...LOL

There are leg extensions for the Kermit chairs which get you in a normal seating height. I have them for mine and the wife's Kermits. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I got the Cadillac model. If you watch the video, you'll see how to open and close. I've only used on the balcony. If you had an interest, I can measure the carry bag for it.

When the sporting goods store REI opens up again
where I live, I will go try them out before I pluck
down $200+, :yikes:but they do have it matching
the Marsala RT, so who knows :roflblack: :dg1:

BTW when do we use these portable chairs???
