• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Floor Boards

I agree with MRFATS! Got the Diamond-R Boards @ Spyderfest (2 Sets!) Did a couple of cosmetic mods on them, but, really happy with them! I'm 6' tall and really appreciate the different foot locations with them! Allen & Patti are Great people to work with too! :doorag: Frank's Boards 018.jpgFrank's Boards 019.jpgFrank's Boards 027.jpgFrank's Boards 026.jpg

Can you Stand on your Rivco Floorboards?

Floorboards, many different styles out there, I've tried them all and finally I found ones I like the best. Rivco just came out with there version and bingo. What I like about Rivco boards they are classy looking, very well built and the angle of the board after it is installed is perfect.

Recently changed seats and now looking for a different floorboard set up. The ones I had made are very sturdy and support anyone that has stood on them without flexing. (Includes a 6'5" 280 lb Friend) My floorboards drop your feet about 4 inches and it looks like the Rivco CA020-WO drops your feet about 2 inches which would be just right now. The real concern is whether they will support my 200lb (ok a little more) weight?

There are lots of choices today. When I designed my first set of Seal Floorboards for my '09 RS SE5 I did it to accommodate my disabilities and need for comfort and variety of foot position. At that time, there was nothing available in floorboards for the Spyder. Being the first floorboard on the market has given me lots of time to evaluate and perfect todays Seal Floorboards. They have been very good to me, why not give them a try yourself, then you too can.........

I Chose Diamond R

I was looking for highway pegs for both my wife & myself. I do like being able to shift feet and leg positions on long trips. There are a lot of nice ones (& cheaper), however they were the only ones offering all I was looking for. Good luck on finding the right
one for you.

Okay need a little help. I want to know what floorboards are the best. I know I will get several answers but I have seen some which were all chrome that I liked the look of also some black ones with the ends curved up that look like spider webs. They also come that you can push on the floorboards and it pushes the break pedal. It's kind of like buying wallpaper. My wife and I shopped until it all looked alike and I said "pick what you like and I'll like it too".:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Spider Legs Foot Boards

I know that you have back pain, etc. For my floorboard issues, I ended up with Seals. I have the deluxe version (longer) on the 2010 and Seal Pups on the 2011. I am short (5'5") and either version works well for me. There is enough room, that I can always move around enough to find a sweet spot to get out of the pain zone.

When I need a little more leg stretch, I also have an inflatable Airhawk cushion and a Sheepskin gel cushion which I add, subtract, or use in combination--depending on the pain of the day. I have now ridden this way for the last couple seasons. There were only two days last season when I had to call it quits after 50 miles or so.

John,

How much do your boards change the foot height relative to the primary riders factory foot pegs; same, lower (by how much) or shorten (by how much)?

Hi Jerry,

My Seal Floorboards do not change the foot height at all. Removing the rubber foot pads and putting the Floorboards on top of the metal pegs leaves the height exactly the same. Hope this helps you to………...
