• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well after 3 - 4 years lurking on here and wanting a Spyder, I finally have my new 2014 RT sitting in the driveway. I added fog lights and accent lights and had the laser alignment done. That's about all the farkling I can swing for now. Of course, I have a list for the future. I just need to get some ryding in. Thanks to all that contribute to this great site. It helps getting up to speed. :2thumbs:

:congrats: on the new ryde. to many miles and smiles. Black is a good looking color. Enjoy!

:welcome: to the gang and :congrats: on your new :spyder:. Now you need to plan to come to Spyderfest and check out all the vendors first hand and get some additional "farkles"!:yes:

Great to see the Basic Model

With a $22,999 MSRP the basic 2014 RT SM6 is appealing for the price point. Glad to see your picture, thanks! I like that you had the fog lights installed which makes it look a litttle bit more like the higher priced RT-S. The plain cast aluminum front wheels look fine to me too. With the money saved initially there would be more latitude for doing modifications and farkling. I'm beginning to like that idea.

Hi Den1953,

That was ultimately my thinking as well, get the basic RT and add what was important to me without the RT-S price. I considered going for the SM6 but the dealer did not have any and the SE6 was what I wanted and one of those things I figured would be useful in the future.
