• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fender lighting tape ......

I have installed Reggy Fenderstrip LEDs and followed the install exactly as directed. I noticed the bottom 1 inch or so has pulled loose. Any clue on how to get it to stick now?

Thanks

LOOSE LIGHT

First ask Reggie .......then you could try the stuff they use for attaching exterior auto trim......any auto parts store will have it..........Mike

3 M makes a double faced trim tape different widths and thickness. Cost is minimal when you consider what you paid for the light strip. Look in the local yellow pages under automotive paint and body supplies.

That's strange. Cause when I tried to pull off my fender lights, they wouldn't budge at all. Stuck on like crazy, lol. Gonna need Reg on this one.

I have heard from Reggy and he is sending me new tape for the sections coming loose. Great service!

I have the same problem with one of my Custom Dynamics ChannelZ strips. Mine has popped loose (about 3-4 inches long) in the middle...securely stuck on each side of the loose part. Problem I see is how do i get the replacement tape in place without removing the entire light strip? There is practically little to no space to work in the replacement tape.

Loose strips normally result from not thoroughly cleaning the slot. Reggie also told me that when I wash the Spyder to wipe from the middle of the strip to the ends. This prevents the rag/sponge or whatever from catching the ends.
