I bought my spyder 10 days ago. My very first bike, and I love it. I got a problem, now I always have Helmet Hair. I sure could use some advice from the spyder-riding female's, any suggestions??? :gaah::chat:
Several things to try, you will have to try them all to decide what works best for you.
1. Wear a "cap" (or tie a bandanna or use a do-rag thingy) between you and the helmet. You can control the way your hair lays flat under the cap, but not under the helmet. Make sure the "flat" direction is opposite of what you want the finished look to be. When you stop, take them both off and push the hair the opposite direction that you flattened it under the cap. Instant "fluff" and "lift.
2. If your hair is short, take a small water spray bottle. When you stop, spray, shake and mold with your fingers. The water will refresh your skin also.
3. I have long hair and will wear my cap into the bathroom, if we are staying for a bit, I will toss and water spritz. If not, just wear the cap and put the helmet back on.
Do-rags, caps, etc are available at swapmeets and all motorcycle gear shops. Buy one, find a "sewing" friend that can change the design (make a pattern) to meet your needs. I sew my own but don't have time to work for others. I made fleece ones for winter, flannel for damp weather and cotton for summer.
Best of luck, hope this helps :doorag:
