There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Wednesday: More of the same....But.....we did not get any of the ice storm. Looks like we dodged the proverbial bullet.

An interesting sidebar: Two of our feral cat buddies decided they wanted out of the weather yesterday. Greeneyes wanted in at 2:00 PM and Smokey came in at 4:00 PM. They both spent the night indoors. Smokey likes Linda's lap and Greeneyes likes mine. Both spent lap time with us. They both left early AM today after eating.

Both cats let us know when they want out to do their business. They go to the front door, meow a couple times, and wait to be let out. That's also how they let us know they want in.

Best of both worlds. Have cat company, but no litter box hassle.

:coffee: Welcome to Friday's cold temperatures, 18°F this morning. Windchill is 10°F and cloudy. The next four days are going to be very cold, some in the single digits. Time will tell about that happening.

Snow showers yesterday brought us about another inch of snow. We have about 3" on the ground now.

Today only 23°F and cloudy, low 18 °F.

Stay Healthy. ......

4" of snow last night and more on the way. 15° on my porch this morning, 26° forecast high today and 5 more days of snow. But, I was able to ride right up to last Tuesday, so Winter hasn't been bad so far. Longest storage has been 2 weeks. Going for a snowblower ride today...

We are headed for the coldest snap they have had in many years here in AR. We thought we moved away from this kind of weather. We are going to get some single digits to zero.

With the occasional freezing drizzle, no Spyders for at least another week.

We're going to have 10+ days of straight -* temps by early next week. Might get above 10* by Tuesday. Wind chills of -35* this weekend. But, yeah, I'd rather have the snow than freezing rain :(

We are having a cold snap now. Tonight will be the coldest of the season. Today's temps were in the single digits above zero, tonight will be extremely cold. They say dress in layers. This cold snap will be short. On Sunday the temps will be in the 20's. Also, they are forecasting 3 more snow storms next week. By Friday the temps in the 30's and rain!

Winter is here to stay for awhile. I am ready for Spring! I hope we have a warm spring.

I can handle the ice,and freezing rain.

Deanna

12 above here. We missed the ice storm and snow that moved through to our S and E. With wind chill, the weather people are saying it feels like -4. That's cold for here. Normal this time of year is 40 above.

No rides today. To spoiled.

Weekend Weather

:coffee: Welcome to the Weekend and the coldest temperatures of 2021 here in Indiana. Morning temperature was 18°F with clouds. No new snow overnight.

Weather People are saying that we might have some snow tonight through Sunday night. A big weather storm will probably pass over the Midwest and travel to the East Coast.

Today's high will be only 23°F ,low of 5°F.
Sunday's high 18°F, low of 10°F.

Bundle Up and Stay Warm.........

It is cooling a bit here in the desert S.W. too. Today will only get to 72 and tomorrow the high is supposed to only get to 67. The ride captain for our usual Sunday ride called it off this week because of the cold weather! Talk about being spoiled! I think I will go for a little spin anyway. I'm fine as long as it's not wet or white. Stay safe and warm..... Jim

Good Afternoon,

Today's temps are in the single digits above zero, tonight is a different story, tonight will be the coldest night of the season, but then Tomorrow( Sunday) the temps will start to moderate highs in the 20's.

We will get that big weather storm on sometime this week( that is coming from the Midwest). Then on Friday the weather people are saying we will get rain. At least the temps will be in the 30's to 40's. Some of the snow will start to melt!

Today sunny and cold.

(off topic, too cold to ride the snowmobile) Back on topic

Stay safe, and Warm!

We were having a mild winter here in southern Ohio. Neither bike was hooked up to the battery tender because I was riding them fairly regularly. THEN, February came in with a vengeance. Currently have 6 inches of snow on the ground and calling for 8 more starting Sunday night. My biggest problem with that is the salt and brine that gets dumped by the tons in the hilly country. Until we get a really good rain my bikes are grounded. My kids say "You're retired why don't you move south?" Because I don't want to move south. I don't like the south. I don't like the heat and/or humidity. I like to ride. We have great roads in SE Ohio I am less than an hour from WV or Kentucky. An easy days ride from the BRP or the Smokies. The only curves in Florida are exit ramps. Why am I complaining if I like living here? I don't know, maybe because it's been a long February and it is only half over.

A couple of my riding buddies here spend summers in Ohio. We do have curves, mountains, low humidity, few bugs, and lots of sunshine. Just saying..... Jim

Just saw a temp of minus 30 at Sugar Shack on Hwy 385 in the Black Hills. I think that’s the coldest I’ve ever seen.

Monday

:coffee: Just Wow, Today we have 2" of New Snow and more on the Way. They are saying 3" to 6" more by Tuesday.
This could be the most Snow for Indiana this season.

Snow Report......Indiana.....5" on the ground.
Today only 14°F with snow, low of 9°F.

I sure hope you all enjoy your Snow Day. For those who want it. It looks good but because I have to drive in it, not much fun.

A Very Happy Monday to you. ......

I don't have a report for the desert S.W. today. Instead, I want to wish all of you health and safety. I have been reading about the cold, snow, and ice that is gripping much of the nation. Lots of power outages and dangerous driving conditions. Please stay safe and warm..... Jim

We got six inches of snow overnight and today's high will be around zero. I have satellite connection for phone and internet. Due to the snow interference, this is the first I have been able to get online today.

Fortunately, our direct TV satellite has been working. There was some talk of rolling blackouts in our area, but so far, none have shown up. The unseasonable cold in TX, OK, AR, LA has taken its toll on most of the utilities and and other public services. We are doing OK here for the time being and if we can survive the night, its supposed to hit 20's tomorrow. It will seem like a heat wave of sorts.

Thoughts and  go out to those who are in need.
