• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fastrak Sending Unit

Hey! You folks in Nor Cal near the Bay Area bridges I need some suggestions. Where did you mount your Fastrak sending unit? The web site shows it mounted on the windshield. I have a RT and it will fit nicely out of the way at the base of the windshield support. Any other ideas?:helpsmilie:

Thanks

Joe, I have mine in the trunk. Never had any issues. Geoff also has his in his trunk as do several other of the riders in our group.

Mine is on the side near the top attached with velcro. I have also seen them velcroed to the inside of the trunk lid.

If its like a Pike Pass here in OK I mounted at the base of the windshield. I was afraid the frunk might interfere with the signal.

Never had any problem with it inside the trunk. Also, Joe, your FasTrak unit is registered and tied with your license plate number. Even if you don't have your FasTrak when you go through the toll plaza, the camera will photograph your plate and they will look up and charge your FasTrak account.
