Fall trip planning

I am planning a fall trip (October time-frame) riding from San Antonio TX to Charleston SC and back. Going out of SA I will follow Alt 90/90 through TX, LA, and MS then up through middle AL (Rte 84), GA Rte 96 and back roads to 95, and end outside of Charleston. They way back through middle SC, GA, then follow route 80 through MS, LA, into TX, then drop back down to SA. Looking for information from those along the routes of things to see, places to stop, or once my schedule is set if anyone wants to meet/join for any of the sections of the ride. I am planning 10 days to 2 weeks for the entire trip, with a 4-5 day stay in SC to ride and see sites. Tried to attach files of my route but haven't figured out how to do it, so if anyone has done this in the past please let me know...

You might want to consider taking a detour to ride through the NC-TN mountains to enjoy the fall colors. October is when the really great riding starts in this area. We'll be looking for you! :thumbup:
