I am surprised no one has mentioned Red Eats at 41 Water St, Wiscasset, ME 04578. They serve Lobster Rolls if you are into that kind of thing. Personally, I don't get it. Be prepared for a long line. My guess is that you will pass right by it on your way North.
Suggested is Acadia National Park. If you plan to climb Cadillac Mountain you will have to make reservations thru Recreation.gov. There is a phone app for this. A lot of people ride to the top for sunrise.
You mentioned you might cross into Canada. Worthy of a visit is Roosevelt Campobello International Park (https://www.rooseveltcampobello.org)
Another site worth using is New England Riders site at https://www.newenglandriders.org/ This site is without a doubt the definitive guide for Roads to take, sites to see, and places to eat and stay in the Northeast. Specifically developed by fellow riders.
