There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. F3S needs Hard Side Bags - are BRP Shad bags the way to go?

Hello all. I'm new to the forum, and new to Spyder's. I pick my 2022 FS3 up on 17 June, and I'm going to need hard side bags. I'd like to do it once and do it right. I see Can-Am has the Shad bags, which look nice. I also need the brackets. Is this the way to go? Don't want to buy the wrong gear. Thanks for any help.

Is there a preferred rider & passenger back rest? My back and the wife's back get fatigued easily. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and experiences.

Years ago I bought some from " Mutaza " that resembled those SHAD bags ( do an advanced search " Mutaza saddlebags " above ) .... they came with very nice brackets so the bags were removable .... I think I paid $200.00 ( and they had leds ) ..... good luck .... Mike

I bought Shad saddlebags and brackets when bike was new. I got them when BRP had a sale on, so a bit of a discount. I am pleased with them. They hold my modular helmet with comms attached.

I bought a light kit from Admorelighting, and also replaced the factory reflectors with red ones. ShadUSA or tradeinn.com

Thanks for the info. I decided on the Shad bags and brackets, and a BRP driver backrest.

I Installed the Shad bags, and brackets yesterday. It came out perfect. I've had bags on several motorcycles, but these are the best so far, and I believe they actually compliment the spyder.

If you are interested, you can replace the silver coloured bag reflectors with red ones. I did, plus added the admore light kit - red running and brake light, and yellow for signals.

Thanks, but I like the minimalistic look as much as possible. I have the red reflector trim piece, but it looks like it's off a 1950 Desoto or something.

Your set-up is the same as mine. I got a deal when buying my 2019 F3-S new from Angel Pilot in Portimao, Portugal. Two BRP backrests and the Shad bags sorced from Shad, not Can-Am. I think they are superb panniers. Regards, Nick J

I absolutely love the Shad bags. I've had all kinds of saddlebags/panniers for motorcycling and bicycling, and I think these are the best I've had. I think the F3S looks naked without them. Easy on and off. I paid to much, but I'm over it. Plenty of room for most needs. And did I say they look great on the Spyder ;-)>
