• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3L 2019 - any Dim Dash Blinker Indicator solutions?

looking for solutions for the blinker indicator...cannot see the tini-tiny green arrow on the dash
Besides the $130.00 Lamonster LED fix or the Slingmod $269.00 solution is there any other options to add or change on these bikes so that you can actually see if the blinker has turned off? Any suggestions welcomed...thanks in advance!

$129.95 will buy you a package with mirror and vent lights. Both will flash amber when your turn signals are on. Otherwise, the lights are always on when engine is running. Both Spyderpops and Lamonster garage have these items.

Our problem with the green signal indicator is solved on both F3's. I bought one from each place.

I put in Cubby lights. Very nice. For around $18 eBay (you'll need two sets). Full details and links at my SSL page in my signature under cubby.jpg.

This is on an RT, but should be applicable. LED dash panel light from Amazon, one on each side, tied into the lights on the mirrors. Visible in daylight.

Another RT Turn Indicator solution

My 2014 RT-S turn indicator solution is similar to Eviltwin except I used larger 1/2" lights so had to locate them inwards to avoid the dashboard support. One of my Top 3 farkles.

Thanks for the reply. How do you wire these in? I have a 2019 F3L and the turn signal lights are wired to lights on the fender? How would I install these?

I have a 2017 F3T. I will be taping into the turn signal light circuit at the mirrors.
Will perform this action when I have the mirrors off to install the LaMonster mirror locks.

Bluebelle -- I don't have an F3 to examine so can't answer your question. But for my RT I made T-jumper harnesses for the mirrors consisting of plug and socket 2-pin AMP connectors with a tap feeding the turn indicators. I didn't cut or tap any Spyder wiring. I didn't take any pictures but I'll be going back into the harnesses again for a tap to feed my fog light upgrade (both fog lights on except when turn signal operating in which case one fog light is dark and the other flashes concurrently with the signal -- my LED fog lights are 3,000K Amber) so will take some then.

If you directly tap into the Spyder wiring I suggest Posi-Taps although I'm investing these https://www.amazon.com/AlphaO-Non-Stripping-Electrical-Wire-Connectors/dp/B07Z4NZL15 for another project.

How would I install these on a 2019 F3L with the current turn signals located on the fender? How would I wire these in?

You will have to tap into the blinker wire. You'll need to remove the bolts holding the fender, remove the cap under the blinker on the underside of the fender, then you can access the blinker wire. You might be able to find the correct wire closer if you trace it back.
